Responsibilities:-
Responsibilities for Accounting Assistant
Working on Financial Accounting, Audits, Book Closures, Controls, Accounting Policies
Implementing and managing annual budgets
Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
Create and update expense reports
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
Prepare bank deposits
Enter financial transactions into internal databases
Check spreadsheets for accuracy
Maintain digital and physical financial records
Computation of tax liabilities related to GST, filing of returns, and maintaining records of the same for audit purposes
Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
Administrative skills.
Review and file payroll documents
Work experience as an Accounting Assistant
Knowledge of basic book keeping procedures
Familiarity with finance regulations
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Zoho Books)
Organization skills Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
B Com in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
